Meet Kristi McKennon - Attorney

From the moment you meet Kristi McKennon, you can sense her sincere desire to help the injured. Kristi began working at the firm as an attorney in 2005 and in 2008 became a named partner. Her path to the law, however, began long before this time. Kristi worked her way through high school, college and law school as a part-time clerk, legal assistant and eventually as a paralegal for several law firms in Eastern Washington including this firm where she is now partner. Today, her understanding of multimedia technology in the courtroom makes your case come alive for the jury.

Kristi was born and raised in the Tri-Cities and, other than her years in college and law school, this is the only place she has ever called home. Raised in a family with strong union ties, Kristi has a clear appreciation for hard work, a passion for fighting for your cause and a desire to level the playing for the injured.

Kristi believes in your right to a fair trial and in her first five years as lawyer, she has tried 11 jury cases to verdict including her firms' most recent Superior Court verdicts of $236,000 in a permises liability case, $490,000 in a UIM case against Mutual of Enumclaw and $275,847 in a case involving an electrician who underwent a cervical disk replacment surgery . In 2009, Kristi was chosen by the Washington State Association for Justice as the "Ready to Soar New Member of the Year."

Believing firmly in the rights of individuals and the injured, Kristi finds political involvement is key. In 2004 she was selected as a delegate to the Washington State Democrats convention in Tacoma. Kristi has also participated in the management of several judicial campaigns and was on the State Board of the Washington American Civil Liberties Union in college.
